Singing Bowl Sound Therapy and Remedial Massage with Paz – 60 min

Singing Bowl Sound Therapy and Remedial Massage

Singing Bowl Sound Therapy is believed to originate in Tibetan or Nepalese Culture – and here in Australia we are familiar with how the Didgeridoo is used in Sound healing as well.

This concept is ancient and based on the understanding that the vibrations of the sound emitted – with the expertise of the therapist who can change the frequencies – can help balance our own vibrational frequency.

Again we all understand the effects of music on our energy systems from listening to it and dance – and how some music just makes us all feel so good!

There have also been some studies which show that Singing Bowl Therapy can help calm the mind, and this includes reducing anxiety, irritability and tension; improving vigour, blood pressure, heart rate and respiratory rate.
It is also believed to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and strengthen the function of the vagus nerve. This can help when you are feeling “wired and tired”.

We combine this with Remedial massage, which is a strong and yet relaxing, restorative treatment for anyone and everyone. You will leave Sage feeling completely rested, relaxed and revitalised.

Paz is available : Monday 10am – 5pm, Tuesday 5pm – 9pm by prior appointment, Friday 10am – 5pm, Sunday 10am – 5pm.

Lymphatic

Lymphatic Massage with Etta or Roxana – 60 min

Lymphatic Massage 60 mins

Lymphatic Massage is known to gently stimulate the lymph flow through the body – resulting in clearing toxins and releasing pain. It is often used as a treatment for those with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).

Our lymph glands sit just below the surface of the skin. These wonderful glands disperse a clear whitish fluid through our bodies and are responsible for the balance of fluids in our bodies, as well as for the ability of our bodies to fight foreign infective organisms entering our system.

When we move, our lymph moves – and it moves to collection points in the body, where it is stored, treated, flushed and recycled. Without regular movement, there is a breakdown and toxification within our muscles, organs and cells. We require oxygen and nutrients and plenty of them, and most definitely those with CFS need an excellent diet, in order to recover. The pain of CFS often means the ability to breathe efficiently is reduced – which can cause an oxygen deficit, leading to palpitations, sweats, fainting, headaches, sickness, mood swings and other symptoms.

Manual Lymph Drainage gently stimulates the circulation of lymph and superficial blood flow, effectively causing the removal of toxic and stagnant lymph and replacing it with ‘clean’ lymph. In effect, those cells have been given a shot of water, nutrients and oxygen, at normal pressure, that they can then use to repair themselves and function more effectively. In addition, an active lymphatic system flexes the immune system muscles, and this may increase our ability to detect and eradicate viruses, one of the most often cited causes of CFS.

This is also a very therapeutic treatment for people who have had lymph glands removed and need the support of physical treatment to physically stimulate the lymph flow, reducing swelling in the arms and the body. Because of this, lymphatic massage is safe for people undergoing chemotherapy treatments.

Roxana is available every Thursday 10.30- 6pm and Saturday 9am -5pm.

Etta is available every second Wednesday 10.45am – 5.30pm and one Saturday a month.

Journey Work

Journey Work – 90 min with Junia

Journey work 90 mins

Journey work is an overall term for a method of relaxation which allows your mind to reset and focus on imagery in order to see your own animal totems, often clearly symbolising matters and experiences that may be useful as a method of gaining insight into your current situation/s.

This treatment includes a focus on your chakra energies, reiki, and conversation to analyse your experience at the end of your treatment. It is equally important to shift pain physically and spiritually as well as emotionally with the mind.

I have studied with a rather quirky American Indian Shaman named Medicine Crow, as well as with psychic healers, such as Deb Webber, and am dedicated to clearing energy with Reiki where needed as well as attuning people who want to see where their journey lies and to follow their own private spiritual wisdom.

Available with Junia weekdays by appointment.
