Mei is a senior qualified Remedial Massage Therapist who has studied and trained in a wide variety of massage, cupping, dry needling and acupressure treatments.
Mei practices Remedial Massage, Pregnancy massage, Indian head massage, Lymphatic massage, Aromatherapy and Reiki.
She may use crystals and also Dry Needles in her treatment. Dry needling can be used at the end of pregnancy to help release sciatic pain as well as to support induction – as can acupressure point therapy.
Mei also uses Acupressure point therapy in her treatments to relieve pain and provide deep relaxation, and aims to provide you with an intuitive and gentle therapeutic massage with the techniques she has learnt over the years.
Mei offers Cupping therapy, both standard cupping and fire cupping. This technique is great for releasing the fascia and reducing pain. Cupping therapy can play an important complementary role in treating and recovering from frozen shoulder.
Mei says, ” I learnt reflexology from my father and have an ongoing interest in this field. I am also passionate about healing and balancing energy in the body to create harmony and a deeper sense of inner calm.”
