The following outlines our sustainable business practises in order to help protect our planet from Global Warming and over-pollution, as well as keeping small communities thriving around the globe and our earth fertile and organic.

We have won several Sustainable Business Awards for our dedication to protecting the environment.

We want to keep making a difference, and we hope that you do too, as we know that the more of you who buy our organic products not only helps your skin and health, but it sustains our business and all of the people around the world who contribute to making our products. If everyone bought organic, there would be a huge shift in the way we farm and thrive!

We start by purchasing 100% of Pure Green Energy with Energy Australia, which means that we pay into the energy grid sourced from wind and solar power, not coal. Our towels are laundered in Tri Nature phosphate free laundry powder and Sonett Laundry Liquid. We have water savers on our taps and our lights are LED and low wattage.

We use corn made bio-degradable, compostable “non-plastic” bags throughout the salon for all our waste. Made in Australia and Norway. Our bins are made from sustainable timber. Our t-shirts are made from organic cotton.

We Recycle everything we possibly can and all our skincare suppliers use recyclable containers for their products.

We use unbleached calico strips for our waxing, so that we know that bleach and similar chemicals are not involved in the production process and as well, the calico breaks down more easily and naturally into the earth, without polluting it with more synthetic chemical waste.

Our Wax for our treatments is petroleum free and resin based. Our lash and brow tints are not tested on animals.

Our Talcum powders are petroleum free and made from organic cornstarch.

Our Nail polishes are Nailsinc or Plant Power and Vegan, and these are a revolutionary 73% plant based, 21 free including formaldehyde, toluene and Dibutyl Phthalate free, thus containing no carcinogenic chemicals which is often in nail polish to prevent it from chipping. They are also cruelty free.

We use pure essential oils in our oil burners.

We use Tri Nature (made in Australia) and Sonett (made in Germany) products to clean our salon every day, all phosphate free, biodegradable, safe for kids and the waterways. These are also very efficient and price competitive.

We also offer these to you to use in your homes and businesses.

We provide Australian made MV Skintherapy Organic skincare and body care products, which are a highly regarded skincare system in the Natural Skincare industry here and around the world.

We provide Dr Hauschka Skincare, Body care and Bath care products which are 100% certified natural as recognised by NaTru. NaTrue is an international not for profit organisation for natural and organic cosmetics based in Brussels. Products that carry their mark have adhered to their strict criteria. These ingredients are sourced from small communities all around the world and helps them to thrive.

We also stock Eminence Organic Skincare and we love the fact that they belong to a Co-Op which they support to plant a tree each time you buy each one of their products. We have planted more than 8000 trees and Eminence have planted over 27 million.

We stock Southern Swan Skincare, which is another small niche organic Australian Company located in Tasmania and The Organic SkinCo, a lovely NZ brand for our teens – who also plant a tree for each product sold.

We offer Weleda Products for babies and mothers, as these contain natural and organic ingredients and are BDIH rated.

Our core Make Up ranges are Jane Iredale and Ere Perez – these natural foundations are beautiful on the skin, dewy and hydrating and their eye make up is sensational, with colours you can play with and blend into your own unique palette along with their lead free lipsticks and pencils. They have many more products which are all cruelty free. We love the divine Ere Perez Vegan make up and love her ethical philosophy around manufacturing.

We have make-up by Dr Hauschka which is also beautiful – sustainable and chemical free as well as allergy-free.

We have plant wax candles made from Coconut oil and where Palm Oil is used it is sourced from Plantation Forests, not Old growth forests. Their fragrances contain 85-100% essential oil. We have brands such as Voluspa, Melbourne based Apsley & Company and locally handmade Empath Ana crystal candles.

We offer Nesti Dante Botanical Soaps and a whole lot more, all sourced from ethical companies with thought for the environment.

We also have many other products and gifts which are sustainably sourced or hand made by creative small business owners who we love to support.
